Who else is in the SEO industry?

Have you ever thought about how big an industry is? How many people actually work as SEOs or who are the people looking up SEO information. One would assume that for X amount of SEOs only Y amount of them are actually vocal.

So Danny Sullivan polled his search engine land visitors recently asking them about their work and experience.

65% worked in SEO for more than 3 years, of which 40% said more than 5 years.

Only 30% of them work at a SEO firm, of which 25% work for a company as a search marketer.

According to Danny, they aren't done 'crunching the numbers' from the survey and he will release more information in the near future. I wonder how many people took place in the survey?!

I am too in the seo industry and by the way it is growing seems like it will just double in size in coming few years. Theres more and more websites coming into internet and this has made the whole concept of SEO more broder

I am just starting out with SEO and online marketing. I have a lot of things to learn. That's why I frequent sites to learn stuff about SEO. So far I've read a complete ebook on SEO and it's helping me a lot.

I have been making jewelery for a while now in my spare time and I would really like to turn it into a business, I haven't got a clue how to go about this. Is it best to start of by selling on ebay or start up my own website?Sorry to be a pain but I really haven't got a clue on where to start.
